Unable to get anything good out of my IceCore V1.2-HX40-4 / 16Mb 22May 2019

I am windows user and iCEcube2 user.
My questions is:
1 - The .bin created by icecube2 can directly uploadable to icecore or does it require conversion?
2 - Can use COM/DBG port to directly programming the ice40hx40?

unfortunately it does not work! I tried with and without the header "bitstream header", the result is the same.
what about the COM/DBG port? Can I use it to directly access the iCE40HX4k?

The latest version of the IceCore source code is on a different branch https://github.com/folknology/IceCore/tree/USB-CDC-issue-3. BTW I use an STLink to debug using swdio/clk and nsrst pins to debug via OpenOCD. Where are you getting stuck exactly Ali?
