Kneading on which breadboard?

In BlackIce Mx on Tindie I find these breadboards:

There are three types:

• MixMod BreadBoard addon
• MixMod Prototype addon
• MixMod Tester (Extender) addon

And two boards per type:

1. No MixMod BreadBoard adaptor
2. MixMod BreadBoard Adaptor
3. No MixMod Prototype module
4. MixMod Prototype module
5. No MixMod Tester adaptor
6. MixMod Tester (Extender)

And a triple pack for each type:

• MixMod BreadBoard Triple
• MixMod Prototype Triple pack
• MixMod Tester Triple

But it's kind of hard for a starter to know which type is which on the Tindie page, and on this post: New Product - BlackIce Mx (14Jun). Instead of trying to knead this out myself and go via something wrong, maybe just have it right from the start of this thread is a better idea. So l would know what to order.

I have a feeling that some boards are not really called the same in the two references.

Are there circuit diagrams of them out there?

What's the rationale for having the three types? They all look like the belonging to the "BlackIce Mx extension cards" box to me?

I have also seen a board with a 7-segment display on. Is that home made? Are there other boards to buy on the Tindie store as well? Buttons, display etc.?

There are 3 mixmod add on modules:
MixMod Breadboard
For connecting BlackIceMx to a breadboard

MixMod Proto
For soldering your own components

MixMod Tester (Extender)
For getting access to the MixMod pins when a MixMod is plugged in (this sits in between the device under test and the BlackIceMx)

These can be added to you BlackIce Mx purchase individually or as triple packs, if you don't want them choose 'No MixMod....' for each module type (default).

This was the best arrangement I could manage with the features provided by the Tindie Store.

I have also seen a board with a 7-segment display on. Is that home made? Are there other boards to buy on the Tindie store as well? Buttons, display etc.?

The only other MixMod I currently have is a 7-Segment display module which I haven't yet added

Yes this is a limited feature of Tindie being abused by me

Correct you select each MioxMod individually (none 1 or 3)

Can I order two BlackIce Mx and a varied number of the others? I can not tick the Mx to zero while keeping the others?

You could add 1 BlackIceMx to your basket (with no addons) and then configure another BlackIceMx with the addons you wish or does that not provide you permutation?

Yes I only tend to do Air mail for Europe (it's simple and reliable IMHO)..
However I will make this one tracked for you (no extra cost) if you prefer (I often do this when multiple boards are ordered).

The Test MixMod (Extender) and Proto MixMod (diagrams above) are inaccurate with respect to the placement of the VCC. It looks like the right 3V3 labels are placed one pin too far up. I guess those diagrams would become somewhat less confusing it this were corrected.

How I assured myself of this

I learn in @lawrie's book chapter Output devices here that he uses Digilent Pmod 8LD (here). He connects it directly to the BlackIce MX (here) (that has the IceCore plugged into it). The 8LD as used in the book chapter is connected to the MX1, lowest pins. This makes sense to me, since both the Pmod standard (here) and the 8LD pinning (here) and the MX1 will have VCC/3V3 pins at the end of the double 6 row connector. GND pins are the first pins further into the connector.

Apologies - sorry yes that's the CAD it places the txt label for the 3v3 far from the actual arrow...
