I have ported the simplest of @hoglet's retro computer implementations to the Blackice Mx.
The Jupiter Ace was a machine a bit like the Sinclair ZX81, but which ran Forth rather than Basic. It has 8kb of ROM to run Forth, 2kb of dedicated video ram, and a minimum of 1kb of RAM, extendable to 49kb via a 16kb and a 32kb extension. This implementation does not support the extended ram as it would not fit in BRAM.
As this implementation did not use SRAM on the Blackice, it does not need SDRAM on the Blackice Mx, although that could probably be used for the extended RAM.
Digilent VGA and PS/2 keyboard adapters are needed.
Here is my setup:
The port was trivial just needing changes to the pll and pcf files. It is in the blackicemx directory. It would need some conditional compilation in the top level and pll source files if it is to be merged back into @hoglet's version and support the two original Blackice boards as well as the Mx.
