I appreciate the effort! Because our pixel clock is around 25MHz and not exactly 25.175MHz, we don't output a precise 60Hz picture... my monitor accepts the ~59Hz signal, but my TV wants exactly 60Hz. With Mike Field's original code he showed a photo of his monitor accepting the signal as 59.4Hz:
...seems to depend on how 'tolerant' a particular screen is! I am sure there are still improvements that could be made to get closer to perfect, but just to get this far was stretching my skills to their limit!
Looking at the signals on an oscilloscope would be helpful / instructional, but my PropScope is nowhere near fast enough.
